Auriel Folkes

Auriel Folkes is a seasoned finance executive focused on technology companies. While her primary focus is the Finance function itself, she has considerable experience in sales operations, and has conducted reviews in functional areas as diverse as customer services, marketing, etc.

Her goals are to ensure Finance adds value and it is transparent to all how Finance supports the overall company strategies and goals. This often results in a transformation programme and requires a comprehensive review of systems, processes and people to ensure business alignment, reduce non value add transactions, simplify and automate, and focus on management reporting. She is also very focused on Finance being a STAR ? Service oriented, Timely Accurate and Relevant.

Auriel has worked in both large corporates and SME?s and in the UK, Europe, USA and Australia/New Zealand. Her philosophy is always to take ownership and accountability and ensure she adds value.

Auriel holds a Masters Degree from the University of Saint Andrews, Scotland and is a Fellow of the Australian Association of Chartered Accountants, having chaired a number of technical seminars as part of her responsibilities on the? AACA committee.

Presently based in the UK near Stansted airport she is a keen walker and skier and spends as much time as possible in France improving her French and enjoying the food and wine with her husband Robert
